Andrew Fitzgerald

Hi, I'm Andrew Fitzgerald

I work at Hearst TV, where I do fun things like Stitch.

I used to work for Twitter, where I built the team that curates Twitter Moments.
Before that I worked for Al Jazeera and Current TV (before they were one company).
I like to think about social media and citizen journalism in news.
I also like to think about fiction and storytelling on Twitter, and I spoke about that on the TED.com

I also write.
I wrote a novel called The Collective.
I did an interactive fiction project called Andrew vs. The Collective.
I also have a novel on the shelf called Drain the Gulf! Get at me if you want to read it!
When I turned 33, I spent an entire year re-reading, re-watching, and re-listening to all my favorite media, and writing about it along the way.
It was called The 33 Project.
Before that, I did a serial, interactive fiction experiment called "A March Story" which is on Medium or Kindle.

I tweet: @magicandrew.
I gram: @magicandrew.
And I'm on that crazy work address book everybody is on these days: LinkedIn
